Today,
we flew kites. A diamond and a dragon, multicolored and with long papery tails that tickle our faces with every dip in the wind. We stayed out until the sun set, until the sky faded from pale pink to the cerulean of dusk.
Then we came inside and made peanut butter cookies, the smell of the crisping nuts in the oven over powering the house.

And now, as I read my screenplay, every line echoes around in my head in a sort of high pitched British Meryl Streep-Margaret Thatcher accent.
